Step back in time with this beautifully atmospheric workshop, inspired by the elegance of Victorian botanical illustration. Students research and create a detailed medicinal herb study, drawing inspiration from the exquisite presentation of antique botanical reference books. We age the paper to evoke a genuine period feel, then work with a selection of fine-tipped pens and inks, completing each piece with handwritten descriptive text in the style of a Victorian herbalist's notebook. A truly unique and absorbing project that combines artistry with a little history. Suitable for adults of all abilities.
Adults only, all materials are provided by your tutor, hand-outs and image references also provided for use on the day.
