John Piper Inspired derelict, disused and damaged buildings in ink line and wash, using oil/wax resist. Students look at John Pipers work and reference deserted and derelict buildings to create a painting capturing the atmosphere of a place. Working with lots of techniques such as coloured ink line and wash, oil pastel resist and pen work.
This workshop is designed for adult of all abilities. They can add their own input; and can also bring their own research and referencing if they wish to. We start the day with a short talk about local British artist John Piper.
Adults only, all materials are provided by your tutor, hand-outs and image references also provided for use on the day.
Friendly, professional tuition, with lots of demos and one to one expert tuition throughout the day.
Coffee, tea selection and fresh pastries are provided.
Free parking for the workshop day.
